Yellow Bentines were formed in May 2004 from the ashes of the popular Glasgow band ‘The Devotions’ who had supported the likes of ‘Keane’, ‘The Glitterati’ and ‘The Parkinsons’. Martin Hay and Peter Hall originally created the band as a side project from ‘The Devotions’, the reason being so that they could play some acoustic and piano based songs that would have never fitted in a Devotions set.
