| The best hip hop album I have heard in years |

| I came out of the hip hop scene in 1999 because everything coming out was either talking about some ones mum or how someone is about to get shot. I became frustrated at the music scene that I almost burnt down all my classic hip hop vinyl collections wort a fair bit of cash now. Pure nonesense was all I heard since forth. I'm tired of 50 pence, the toy game and the rest of them fake gangsters trying to tell me that they're harder than the rest of us, they're all paranoid from what ever drugs they've been taking. However, 3 days ago I recieved a package through my letter box and the content was simply one off the most amazing, captivating, magical, and intriguing sound I've ever heard. The CD cover simply reads DA BLACKSTONE - Da time is now. The time is definately now, at first I could'nt distinguish what genre of music it was. Every single track prepares you for the next the anticipation and suspense was amazing. The four memebers of this group are all siblings, they all write, produce & compose all their materials. Their first single off the album is called Last Days. All I can say about this particular track is, please embrace yourselfs. The track is scientific, poetic, political, spiritual, emotional all at once. I felt a deep sense of realisation after listening to this track. I can not wait to see them perform. How many Hip Hop groups do you know plays the melodica? DABLACKSTONE are musical genius you will not be disappointed with this album. I've been informed that their first video will be aired on MTV Base in early December. Thank God, real Hip Hop with that Afro-Latin sound that will elavate your mind yet challenge your morals and ethics is back. Like back in the days of KRS 1 and Rakim. ***** www.dablackstone.com |
